Living in Kilkenny, Cody currently works from her studio in Waterford city. Having received her Degree in Fine Art Printmaking from Limerick School of Art & Design in 1997 she went on to work in various art related fields. She graduated from Crawford College of Art & Design in 2009 with a Higher Diploma in Arts for Art & Design Teachers. Following this she gained her Masters qualification also from CCAD in 2014 in Art & Process.
Cody’s Arts practice is concerned with the acquisition of information, taking a typological and ethnographic approach – in the main through photography – documenting, compiling, filing & storing information digitally. She uses photography as an investigative tool whilst working in an archival mode.
